The Greatest Souls

"The Lord doesn’t care at all if we spend our days working in
marble halls or stable stalls. He knows where we are,
no matter how humble our circumstances.
He will use—
in His own way and for His holy purposes—
those who incline their hearts to Him.
God knows that some of the greatest souls
who have ever lived
are those who will never appear in the chronicles of history.
They are the blessed,
humble souls who emulate the Savior’s example
and spend the days of their lives doing good."

You Matter to Him

You Matter to Him

Second Counselor in the First Presidency

And while we may look at the
vast expanse of the universe and say,
 “What is man in comparison to the glory of creation?”
God Himself said we are the reason He created the universe! His work and glory—
the purpose for this magnificent universe—
is to save and exalt mankind.8 In other words,
the vast expanse of eternity, the glories and mysteries
of infinite space and time are all built for the benefit
of ordinary mortals like you and me.
Our Heavenly Father created the universe
that we might reach our potential as His sons and daughters.

For behold, this is my awork and my bglory
to bring to pass the cimmortality and deternal elife of man.
Moses 1:39

....please understand that what you see and
experience now is not what forever will be.
We have the faithful promise of God that He will neither
forget nor forsake those who
incline their hearts to Him.

You will not feel loneliness, sorrow, pain, or discouragement forever.

Have hope and faith in that promise.
Learn to love your Heavenly Father
and become His disciple in word and in deed.

Brothers and sisters, the most powerful Being in the universe
is the Father of your spirit. He knows you. He loves you with a perfect love.
God sees you not only as a mortal being
on a small planet who lives for a brief season—
He sees you as His child. He sees you as the being
you are capable and designed to become.
He wants you to know that you matter to Him.

Let Our Hearts Be Full of Joy

Give not over thy soul to sorrow; and afflict

not thyself in thy own counsel.

Gladness of heart is the life of man

and the joyfulness of man is length of day.

Ecclesiastes

Joy cometh in the morning.
Psalms 30:5

Pray unto God, and he will be favorable unto you:
and you shall see his face with joy.

Worship God with exceedingly great joy.

Thou hast made known to me the ways of life;
thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance.
Acts 2:28; see also Ps. 16:11

Men are, that they might have joy.

Let the amountains shout for joy, and all ye valleys cry aloud;
and all ye seas and dry lands tell the wonders of your Eternal King!
And ye rivers, and brooks, and rills, flow down with gladness.
Let the woods and all the trees of the field praise the Lord;
and ye solid brocks weep for joy! And let the sun, moon,
and the cmorning stars sing together, and let all the sons of
God shout for joy! And let the eternal creations declare his name forever
and ever! And again I say, how glorious is the
voice we hear from heaven, proclaiming in our ears,
glory, and salvation, and honor, and dimmortality
and eternal life; kingdoms, principalities, and powers!
D&C 128: 23

 Wherefore, fear not even unto death;
for in this world your joy is not full,
but in me your joy is full.
DandC  101:36

He wants us to be full of joy and happiness.

He has joy in us,

His children.

 The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty;
he will save,
he will rejoice over thee with joy;
 he will rest in his love,
 he will joy over thee
with singing.

Zephaniah 3:17
