Jesus Christ Will Heal Our Souls

"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden,

and I will give you rest.

Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me;

for I am meek and lowly in heart

and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

For my yoke is easy

and my burden is light."

Matthew 11: 28-30

"Jesus wants us to know God is a loving Heavenly Father.

Knowing that we are loved by our Heavenly Father

will help us know who we are

and know

that we belong to

His great eternal family."

M. Russel Ballard

"...despite the challenges we face in life,

we can...awake to a new life in Christ,

with new and marvelous possibilities

and new realities as we

turn to the Lord for

hope

and belonging."

M. Russel Ballard

Wayfaring Stranger

I'm just a poor wayfaring stranger

Traveling through this world below

There is no sickness, no toil, no danger

In that bright land to which I go

I'm going there to see my father

And all my loved ones who've gone on

I'm just going over Jordan

I'm just going over home

I know dark clouds will gather 'round me

I know my way is hard and steep

But beauteous fields arise before me

Where God's redeemed, their vigils keep

I'm going there to see my mother

She said she'd meet me when I come

So I'm just going over Jordan

I'm just going over home

I'm just going over Jordan

I'm just going over home

American Folk Song

"I pray that our Savior will

heal our souls,

dry our tears,

and create in each of us a

pure heart.

I also pray that

we may find shelter

in the shadows

of His outstretched arms

and that

He will be merciful

and forgiving

concerning our weaknesses.

That He will be a father to the fatherless,

and deliver to the needy according to their needs,

and incline His ear to our cries,

I humbly pray

in the name of Jesus Christ,

amen."

Who Am I? Why Am I Here On Earth?

Who am I, this being that I am.

Who walks the earth, midst beings as my self?

Born was I, of parents...who are they?

Why do I exist to walk awhile and then depart?

Who am I, who takes up time and space?

Whose motions vacilate,

some bad, some good;

Who feels the null and void of all of this,

Without the question answered,

who Am I?

By happen chance have I come about by

some ornate confusion?

By happen chance have I

grown from from rudimentary species,

eons past evolved?

By happen chance?

By happen chance am I a worthless piece of thing

so dross,

so void,

so much of nothingness

that when I pass,

my passing is just passing?

Who Am I?

This is who I am....

My spirit lived with my Father before the

earth was formed.

I chose the path to follow,

when my first estate was done.

I came to earth for a body,

to make my soul divine.

This is who I Am!

This is who I AM!

I am a child of my Father!

I am a child of my Father!

My Father!

My Father in Heaven!

THIS is who I Am.

I am a child,

I am a child of God.

This is who

I AM.

and all of you are children of the most High."
