Worth of Souls is Great...

Doctrine and Covenants 18:10

Remember the worth of souls is great
in the sight of God;

Matthew 7:1

Judge not, that ye be not judged.

Psalms 72:14

He shall redeem their soul from deceit and violence:
and precious shall their blood be in his sight.

John 13:34-35

A new commandment I give unto you,
That ye love one another; as I have loved you,
that ye also love one another.
By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples,
if ye have love one to another.

 D&C 88:124–25

the Lord has counseled in latter days that we
“cease to find fault one with another”
and
 “above all things,
clothe [ourselves] with the bond of
charity,
as with a mantle,
which is the bond of perfectness and peace.”

DAVID B. HAIGHT, 1982

Then are we not commanded to cultivate

genuine fellowship

and even a kinship

with every human being on earth?

Whom would you bar from your circle?
We might deny ourselves a nearness to our Savior
because of our prejudices of
neighborhood or possessions or race—

attitudes that Christ would surely condemn.

Love has no boundary,
 no limitation of good will.

“Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart,
and with all thy soul,
and with all thy mind.
“This is the first and great commandment.
“And the second is like unto it,
Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
On these two commandments
hang all the law and the prophets.”

Doctrine and Covenants 18:10

 Remember,
the worth of souls
is great
in the sight of God;

There is no room
for the disciples of Christ
to pass judgement or
condemn
any soul,
black, white, yellow, red,
man, women,
gay, straight,
fat, thin,
beautiful, plain,
or any individual different than
your self
on this earth.

"Love one another;

as I have loved you."
